Desert Magic Adventure & Culture Tour in Egypt is a 10 day desert experience from the Giza Pyramids in Cairo to the rock sculptures of the White Desert. Traveling by 4x4 safari jeep is the only way to reach the stunning landscapes of Egypt's Western Desert, which stretches over two thirds of the country. The Western Desert is renowned for the 5 large oasis towns, scattered between the Mediterranean coast and the Sudanese border and also for the spectacular Black Desert & the natural rock sculptures of the White Desert. Desert Magic Adventure, takes you to the first two oases of Bahariya & Farafra, exploring both the Black desert & the white desert and not only by 4x4 jeep but also with a days camel trekking or trekking on foot, to really get a feel for the isolated desert region. Spread over 10 days this tour allows for a slower pace and also has free days for you to take time to absorb the surroundings or join some optional day trips to out of the normal sights.
Desert Lodge | In various regions throughout Egypt there are beautifully crafted Eco Lodges. Some made of natural materials of the region and some build to blend in with the surrounding environment. Usually located owned and run, these lodges are a great way to really experience traditional ways of life. A Desert Lodge offers basic facilities for an overnight stay with restaurant in house.
Desert Camp Western Desert | EMBAH’s nomadic desert camp in the Western Desert is tailored around the 4x4 Jeeps for support & shelter, with traditionally decorated tarpollens. Carpeted areas and mattresses are furnished to ensure your comfort whilst sleeping under the stars, with dome tents available for extra privacy. A kitchen area is set adjacent to the camp, where freshly prepared meals will be cooked on an open fire. Designated washing and toilet areas are set, and in some cases you can bathe in hot springs or fresh water oases. Our camp locations are picked for favorable weather conditions and stunning scenery.
